Terms governing use of the BrookPoint Desktop website and commissioned reporting work.
1. Agreement
By using https://desktop-brookpoint.click and commissioning work from BrookPoint Desktop Ltd, you agree to these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.
2. Services
We provide geographic sales heatmap reporting, territory balance reviews, quarterly density briefs, and related briefing work as described on this site. Website content is informational and does not itself form a binding contract until a written estimate is accepted.
3. Estimates and payment
Written estimates specify scope, fees, deposit, and timeline. A 40% deposit is typically required to secure a slot. Balances are due on delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. Rates on the website are starting figures and may change.
4. Client materials
You warrant that sales extracts and other materials you supply are lawfully provided and appropriately anonymised. You retain ownership of your source data. We retain ownership of our map templates, colour-scale methods, and base cartographic styling, while granting you a licence to use the finished pack for your internal business purposes.
5. Intellectual property
Website text, graphics, and sample tiles are owned by BrookPoint Desktop Ltd or licensed to us. You may not copy site content for commercial reuse without permission.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the site, attempt unauthorised access, or submit unlawful, harmful, or infringing content through forms.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made solely on the basis of a map without regard to the written caveats. Our aggregate liability for a commissioned engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot be limited under English law.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts where mandatory rules allow.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
